Hello! My name is Missy and I am a former criminal lawyer and mom of three.
I left my law career when I had my first baby in order to be home with him. I quickly picked up a camera and was determined to learn how to take great photos of him. That same year this became my full-time career.
I've taken courses in the safe and proper handling and posing of newborns, photography techniques, videography, and clean, natural editing.
I prefer a natural style and I place a lot of emphasis on a fun, stress-free experience. I love working with children and it is an honour for me to capture special moments with your families.
If there is anything we all know, it's that time is both a gift and a thief. Our children grow up so quickly and these years are the best years of our lives.
I strive to make the experience as easy on you as possible and the photos to be ones you will cherish for a lifetime.
We can hold your photography session in home, in studio, or outdoors. Typically newborn sessions can take place in your home (sometimes in studio) and of course the time of year can often determine whether outdoor sessions are an option. If you're unsure, contact me and we can come up with a plan together.
